Nancy review of Ripper

By: Amy Cecil

Love is a strange emotion. It will tear you up inside and consume you beyond all reason.

But now something heinous has imbedded itself in the back of my mind.

I find that I now question the man behind the lover that I thought I knew so well.

Could he?

Would he?

Did he

My take on this book:

This was a different kind of book for me.  I don’t usually read historical romance but this was awesome.  It had me hooked from the first chapter.  And the ending about killed me.  The emotions that Marie goes through trying to figure everything out are written so well.  You will be racking your brain to figure this one out.  A must read.

Nancy’s review of Hwy 550

Hwy 550

By Freya Barker

Special Agent Luna Roosberg lives and breathes her job. Who needs a personal life when work is so rewarding?

When a new case sends her to investigate a local motorcycle club, covering as the president’s new flavor of the week, the lines between professional and personal quickly start to blur.

Although the Arrow’s Edge MC stays mostly on the right side of the law since Ouray took the gavel, the appearance of the feds at their gate can still rattle his cage.

When a string of robberies points squarely in Ouray’s direction, he’s forced to cooperate and put the blonde, prim and proper half-pint on the back of his bike.

With pressure mounting both in—and outside—the club, Ouray no longer knows who he can trust, except the woman who is shaking up his life—and stirring his blood

My take in this book:

This book was so well written.  The emotion that Freya brings out in the reader is so atrong.  There is the perfect amount of heat and sweetness.  Along with twists and turns.  I have onlybreadb1 book from Freya before a signing but after Hwy 550 I will be going back for more.  I love the fact that Arrows Edge MC is a clean MC. You all know I am a sucker for a MC book.  I highly recommend this book.

This anthology is centered around London.  Either by visit or someone lives there.  The stories will grip you.  I did not want to put the book down.  I have read a few of the authors before but most were new to me.  I am so happy I read them.  I have found more authors to read.  The stories range from sweet to hot.  From MM to PNR.  And I am not a big PNR reader but they were written in a way even I could understand.  And at one point I even wanted to jump through the kindle and smack one character with a chair.  I can not wait for the next stop on the Voyages of the Heart.  Do Not Miss.
